On Friday evening, President Trump and First Lady Melania landed in Hickam, HI where they stepped off Airforce One and saw a huge crowd of over on hundred avid supporters waiting to meet them.
Trump and Melania will have a one night stay in Honolulu which will include visits with military officials, a tour of Pearl Harbor, and a wreath ceremony at the USS Arizona memorial.
What Trump stepped out from behind his car, the crowd cheered when they saw what their President was wearing. Trump had on a huge, brightly colored lei – a well-known symbol of the Hawaiian culture. His smile was as bright as the flowers as he strolled over to personally greet his supporters. Melania follows closely behind with a small lei of her own.
This is a President who truly cares for his people. He always takes the time to stop and greet them. Trump knows that all Americans deserve his respect, which is why he spends so much time getting to know them in each city.
